The majestic two-headed mountain Vida – the highest point of the East Sakhalin mountain range, is the largest (835 m – North-Western peak and 947 m – South-Eastern peak) reef formation on the island of Sakhalin.
The uniqueness of this mountain is heavily karsts. The mountain is located in the Smirnykhovsky district of the Sakhalin region and has the status of a natural monument.
Numerous skulls of bears, hunting tools of ancient people of the Neolithic era, were found in the cave of Bear Tragedies. In 1982, two daggers made of walrus tusks were found in the hall located in the Northern part of the cave, among the many bone remains of bears. The tour lasts two days and one night.
